Plain terms.

Shore Shift is a planning tool. Its rules check compares the hours you enter with the hours rules quoted on The rules page, as they read on the date shown there. It is not legal advice, it does not cover every law that applies to employing minors (work permits, jobs minors may not do, pay, overtime and others are outside it), and it cannot know your school district's calendar or what was actually worked. You remain responsible for your schedule and for following the law.

Laws change. When a quoted rule changes, the rules page and the check are updated; until then, a newer law wins over what the site shows.

Prices are as shown on the pricing page. During the preview nothing is charged. When payments start: monthly and yearly passes renew until cancelled and can be cancelled at any time, keeping the time already paid for; the 7-day pass is one payment and does not renew.

Keep your board's link private: anyone with it can see and change the board. Do not use the site to overload it, or to store anything other than your own crew schedule.
